Charity Website Launched

It’s always nice to do some charity work so when Positive Youth got in contact we were only too happy to help.

The Positive Youth Programmes is an Ipswich based small youth charity registered in England and Wales. Their main work includes developing the capacity and skills of youth of the socially and economically disadvantaged in such a way that they are better able to identify, and help meet their needs and to participate more fully in society.

A WordPress content management system, some custom design work, a little coding and Positive Youth were the happy owners of a brand new website www.positiveyouth.org.uk

WorkinFashion Launched

After the success of last years launch www.workinschools.co.uk the company behind the project have released their second website www.workinfashion.com aimed at designers, photographers, models and everyone involved in the world of fashion.

The site again by us here at Punkyduck combines the practicality of a jobsite with all the elements you would expect in any major social networking site. The big addition this time is the portfolio section allowing users to upload, manage and promote their services throughout the website.

Punkyduck win Best Use of Mobile

We’re very pleased to announce that last night we were the proud recipients of the BIMA award for the Best Use of Mobile. The award recognised the hard work put in by our team on “The Wedding Planner by AW” iPhone App and website developed in collaboration with our partners Pod1.

The project which went live in the Spring allows brides and grooms to be to manage all aspects of the wedding from creating wedding lists to sharing potential venue photos with members of the wedding party.

The awards adds to what has already been a commercially successful project with the client recouping the development costs within a few weeks of launch.

NHS selects Punkyduck

After a success pitch the NHS Suffolk along with Suffolk County Council and the Design Council have selected us at Punkyduck as their design and development agency for a new venture aimed at getting more young adults into physical activities.

Our team pitched our idea that incorporated elements of YouTube, Twitter, Foursquare and Facebook to create a social networking site where users can upload video and photos, tag locations and activities and connect with friends.

Punkyduck were chosen above 2 other competing agencies.
