Digital production specialists choose Punkyduck

Posted at 05/12/2009 15:17:03

Digital production specialists BAM Entertainment have successfully launched their new group website in conjunction with Punkyduck.

Founded in 2008, the group which covers areas such as creative studio design, mobile distribution, licensing and comedy approached Punkyduck with the basic brief of creating a website that showed the breadth of their talents and made them stand out from the crowd.
The BAM Entertainment logo was revisited and enhanced to apply more directly to the market sector that BAM operates in and from here the site just seemed to grow. At its centre is the company’s showreel video, illustration better than pages of descriptions exactly what BAM Entertainment is about.

The site will continue to develop over time to showcase work from talented individuals involved such as Mike Ploog, creator of Shrek, and veteran of Marvel, Disney and Dreamworks.
In addition to the initial site development Punkyduck have been chosen to work closely with BAM on other projects, using out technical expertise on forthcoming projects such as Hoot Comedy, a web and mobile comedy clip distribution channel to be launched in the new year.

Beat the economic downturn with usability testing and increase sales by 79%

Posted at 16/09/2008 19:40:06

With many companies now making cutbacks due to the current economic climate, stretching budgets further has become a necessity. It has become even more important that new web designs work straight away and existing ones are tweaked to maximise their potential.

The best way of fulfilling this is by carrying out website usability testing to ensure as many customers as possible reach their goal as easily as possible. Leading usability advocate Jacob Nielsen states that ecommerce sites could increase sales by 79% with a usability redesign .

So if you’re a company looking to push more out of your website for less or a design agency needing to prove a redesign is right for your client then booking a session at Punkyducks’ website usability testing lab is a must.

If you'd like to know more about usability testing then contact us on 0845 0 347 347 or email usability@punkyduck.com .
